🏥 Expanded Healthcare Access 🏥
With over 34 years as a hospice nurse, Jayne has seen the consequences of delayed or inaccessible care.
She’s committed to expanding healthcare options across Kannapolis so residents can receive timely, local treatment without traveling long distances or facing financial barriers. Jayne’s healthcare advocacy is personal—she’s been the caregiver, the patient, and the voice for those who couldn’t speak.
As a city leader, Jayne will work to:
Forge partnerships with local hospitals, nonprofits, and health departments to bring more services into underserved neighborhoods.
Support the development of community clinics and urgent care centers through zoning, incentives, and city-backed grants.
Champion mobile health units that provide preventive care, screenings, and chronic disease management directly in neighborhoods, schools, and senior centers.
Advocate for city funding and state/federal grants to expand health services.
Ensure health equity is part of every city decision, from transportation planning to housing code policies and regulations, because health should never depend on zip code or income.
Jayne believes that local government has a powerful role to play in public health—and she’s ready to lead that charge in Kannapolis.
No One Left Behind.
